Bow Wow Shares 7-Year-Old Text Asking Nas for a Verse

For some strange reason, over the course of time, Bow Wow has become hip-hop's punching bag. Random patrons and his hip-hop associates on social media constantly take shots at the multifaceted hip-hop artist in an attempt to discredit his accomplishments in the culture. Bow Wow has been affiliated with Death Row Records and of course, Jermaine Dupri's So So Def Records and has dropped six albums and is officially a diamond status selling musician, something that many in the music industry wish to accomplish.

After claiming that he will no longer be doing press and interviews, Bow Wow is using his social media platforms to live his truth posting the following exchange between him and the legendary Queens MC, Nasir Jones. In the screenshot of the Twitter direct message, Shad Moss can be seen asking for an album feature, Nas then responds asking the multi-platinum artist for his contact information, complete with a caption that reads:

"7 years ago... just looking through my old messages. I really wanted this to happen. #NAS damn .... (things i work on and who im good with you might never know. I wanted this soooo bad. STILL DO. ONE DAY I PRAY ONE DAY)"

With Nas back in artistry mode, we could see the unusual combination of Nas and Bow Wow on a track together come to fruition.
