Carol City vs Everybody

Ross Supports His Highschool Football Team at State Championship Game

It's no secret that rapper Rick Ross is a native of Carol City, nor is it surprising that he graduated from Miami Carol City Senior High, but what is surprising to many is finding out that he started as an offensive lineman for MCCSH (#61), while under the coaching of Walt Frazier. He even made Miami Herald's All-Dade list; which recognizes the best high-school athletes in Miami-Dade and Broward counties.

Over the weekend, Ross traveled to Orlando to show his high-school football team support during their state championship game.

Below Ross is seen warming up with the football team during halftime before their big win. Several players stated that it was Ross' words of encouragement that led them to victory. Way to go Boss! Ross makes countless efforts to uplift and give back to his community on a regular basis. It's evident that he will never forget where he comes from, and Congrats to the Miami Carol City Senior High Football team for winning the 2016 Class 6A state title!
