About two months ago, Marshall Mathers aka Eminem, teased fans of a new LP for 2017 (allegedly entitled Success) while dropping his politically charged "Campaign Speech" single. During an interview this past Tuesday Dec. 20 on Shade 45's annual Hanukkah Radio special, hosted by DJ Whoo Kid and Paul Rosenberg on SiriusXM, the Detroit Rap God previewed a "rough idea" of the "hook" to his "supposed" next single, "What Time You Sucking It".
Near the end of a 13-minute clip uploaded after the show, Slim Shady mentioned, "I'm working on my new single, too. It's coming out soon. You want the hook to it? I can give you a taste of the hook." Em then started singing, "What time? What time you sucking it? What time you sucking it?" However, following the reveal, it turned out that the song and lyrics were just a joke.
Em states, "That's the rough idea of it. You like it? 'Cause Whoo Kid, it's actually to you." Later he then said it was originally for Paul, "It's super flattering, and it's cool. I actually wrote it for Paul, but...I feel like it's probably gonna be a pretty big record."
Peep the hilarious interview and hook below:
Although, we've learned it may have all been for ish and giggles, fans now wonder whether it was all a scam or if Em is really hinting at a potential track. I mean, he did announce a new project for next year. Damn you Em.. guess we'll have to wait and see.
