Less than 24 hours after jumping on OVO Sound Radio yesterday, the birthday boy, Drizzy Drake, is being condemned for calling out Kid Cudi's mental illness on his new joint, "Two Birds One Stone". This follows Cudi's self-admission into rehab earlier this month for "depression and suicidal urges" (letter to fans below). Even though Cudi called out Drake first (411 below), did The 6-God hit too far below the belt?
On the track, Drake raps: "You were the man on the moon / Now you just go through your phases / Life of the angry and famous / You stay xanned up and perked up so when reality set in, you don't gotta face it / Look what happens soon as you talk to me crazy / Is you crazy?".
The track has been out for less than a day and the Twitter-sphere has already blasted the Champagne Papi for his lack of a better (moral) comeback. Whereas others, like Charlamagne Tha God, says it's just a part of Hip-Hop. Check out the varying tweets below:
Cudi's heartfelt letter to his fans:
Cudi v. Drake 411: Last month, Cudi went on a Twitter rant calling out Kanye and Drake for not giving a f**k about him, claiming, "the days of f**kery are over." Cudi blasted Drake on his old beef of having a ghostwriter for his mixtape If You're Reading This It's Too Late. Check out his tweets below:
