For the first time, Big Sean hit the SNL stage this weekend (Jan 21st) to perform a couple songs from his Feb 3rd anticipated fourth studio album I Decided. With help from the live band, the Detroit rapper delivered the come-back tune in a different manner, amping up the crowd and viewers at home.
Later in the show, Sean premiered another new single off the album, "Sunday Morning Jetpack", which is rumored to feature The Dream. [Sean's already dropped "Moves, "Living Single", "Bounce Back" and "No More Interviews".] The über personal track, The G.O.O.D MUSIC rapper takes us on this "one-way trip to paradise", as he reminisces on his childhood and favorite memories like eating his grandma's home cooked meals and going to prom. Sean metaphorically uses the jetpack to escape the hardships and capture blessings to relieve the burdens within his family. We even catch a couple references of alleged girlfriend Jhene Aiko, Cam'ron and Kanye West.
A few days prior, Sean debuted "Halfway Off The Balcony", a somber track where Sean does a bit of soul searching, reflecting on family, his career and women. Check out each track below! Click here for tour dates for his I Decided Tour in March.
